Polynucleotides for
Dark Circles & Tear Trough
For thin, tired-looking skin under the eyes. Polynucleotides improve skin quality; they do not add volume.
From CHF 500 per session · Consultation CHF 50
Treatment
Skin quality
under the eyes.
Dark circles have different causes. Often the skin under the eyes is so thin that vessels and muscle show through. Shadows from volume loss or a naturally deep tear trough can add to this.
Polynucleotides work on the skin itself. They are highly purified DNA fragments, usually derived from salmon milt, that stimulate the body's own regeneration processes. The aim is denser, more elastic skin on the lower eyelid.
Realistic expectations.
The change comes slowly. First effects appear after 3–6 weeks, the full effect after about 8 weeks. That is why we usually plan a series of 2–3 sessions 3–4 weeks apart; the effect lasts about 6 months, longer with maintenance.
Polynucleotides do not fill a deep tear trough with marked volume loss. Whether another treatment suits you better is something we clarify in the consultation.

FAQ
Good to know.
Do polynucleotides help with dark circles?
If dark circles are mainly caused by thin skin, polynucleotides can improve skin quality. They do not replace volume in the tear trough. We assess the cause of your dark circles in the consultation.
How many sessions are needed?
Usually 2–3 sessions 3–4 weeks apart. After that, a maintenance session about every 6 months makes sense.
When will I see a change?
First effects after 3–6 weeks, the full effect after about 8 weeks. Polynucleotides work slowly; there is no immediate result.
How is this different from filler?
Filler adds volume and works immediately. Polynucleotides improve the quality of the skin over several weeks without adding volume.
What side effects are possible?
Usually mild: small bumps for 12–24 hours, slight redness, rarely small bruises. We do not treat patients with a known fish allergy.
What does the treatment cost?
From CHF 500 per session. The consultation costs CHF 50 and is credited if you are treated the same day. Payment is made on site by card or cash.
Are polynucleotides right for your dark circles?
We clarify this in a short medical consultation. You can also send us your first questions via WhatsApp.
Polynucleotides are CE-certified medical devices. They are used only after a medical consultation, individual indication and personal informed consent. Treatment is contraindicated in patients with a known fish allergy. This page does not replace a medical consultation.
