Exosome Therapy
at Zurich HB

Exosomes are biological signalling molecules that support cellular communication and regeneration — applied for skin quality, hair growth and biological skin regeneration.

Treatment

Exosomes — regeneration
at the cellular level.

Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles that cells use for communication and regeneration. In skin medicine, purified exosome preparations are used to support cellular activity, collagen formation and regeneration processes.

Classic applications: improving skin quality after microneedling or laser, supporting hair loss, biological skin regeneration as a gentle complement to PRP or polynucleotides.

At Dr. Harris, exosome products are used exclusively from established, quality-verified manufacturers. Application is part of an individual, physician-planned treatment concept.

Where exosomes make sense.

Classic indications: skin quality (glow, texture, fine porosity) — usually combined with microneedling. Hair growth in early thinning — often combined with PRP. Skin regeneration after laser or ablative treatments.

Exosomes are not a standalone miracle treatment — they work as biological support. For pronounced hair loss, additional medical workup should also be done.

The Dr. Harris principle.

Exosomes are still a relatively young procedure in aesthetic medicine. We use them deliberately and conservatively, where the evidence is solid, and communicate honestly about what they can do — and what they cannot.

Every treatment is personally planned and performed by Dr. Harris.

Indication

When it makes sense — and when we advise against it.

Suitable when …

  • skin quality should regenerate further after microneedling or laser
  • early hair thinning should be supported biologically
  • a skin-glow effect in addition to PRP or polynucleotides is desired
  • a biological, regenerative method is preferred
  • combination with other methods is planned

We advise against it when …

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • an acute skin condition or infection
  • an active oncological disease in progress
  • an immediate, dramatic result is expected
  • another treatment would be medically more appropriate

Treatment

Approx. 45–60 minutes. Often combined with microneedling so the exosomes are delivered locally into the skin. For hair treatment as a scalp treatment.

3
Course & maintenance

Recommendation: 2–3 sessions 3–4 weeks apart. First effects after 4–8 weeks, full effect after 3 months.

Frequently Asked

Good to know.

What exactly are exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells use to exchange signals and growth factors. In skin medicine, purified preparations are used to support regeneration and cellular activity.

What is the difference to PRP?

PRP is autologous blood plasma with growth factors. Exosomes are highly purified signalling molecules and contain concentrated regeneration factors — the effect complements PRP but doesn't replace it.

Are exosomes safe?

The preparations used in the practice come exclusively from established, quality-verified manufacturers. All risks and the current state of evidence are discussed individually before treatment.

When will I see results?

First effects after 4–8 weeks, full effect after about 3 months.

What side effects are possible?

Usually mild: redness 24–48 hours, light swelling, rarely small bruises. Serious complications are rare but cannot be entirely excluded.

Does this really help with hair loss?

Exosomes can support hair growth biologically, especially in early stages of thinning. For genetic or hormonal hair loss the effect is limited — we are honest about that and combine other methods if needed.

Can exosomes be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Often combined with PRP, microneedling, polynucleotides or Profhilo® — depending on the indication.

Are exosomes right for you?

We discuss your indication in a short medical consultation — or via WhatsApp if you would like an initial assessment. No sales pressure, with honest indication.
