Treatment

Sunekos® at Dr. Harris.

Sunekos® is an injectable medical device made of amino acids and low-molecular hyaluronic acid. It doesn't work by building volume but by stimulating the body's own collagen and elastin synthesis in the dermis.

Its classic application is the eye area — fine lines, tired expression, lower-eyelid skin quality. Sunekos® is particularly gentle and also suitable for younger patients or sensitive skin.

At Dr. Harris, Sunekos® is used specifically where a gentle refresh without visible volume is desired.

Where Sunekos® is particularly effective.

Classic indications: eye area (Sunekos 200), face and neck (Sunekos 1200), fine lines, dull skin quality, early signs of skin ageing. Also as preparation for or maintenance combined with filler, Profhilo® or PRP.

For pronounced skin laxity or volume loss, Sunekos® doesn't replace other methods — it complements them. In the consultation we discuss which method is right for your goal.

The Dr. Harris principle.

Sunekos® works subtly and biologically. We recommend it especially where we want to improve skin quality gently — particularly for sensitive skin or around the eyes, where more aggressive methods are not appropriate.

Every treatment is personally planned and performed by Dr. Harris.

Indication

When it makes sense — and when we advise against it.

Suitable when …

  • the eye area appears tired, with fine lines
  • skin quality is dull or shows early signs of ageing
  • a gentle, biological method is preferred
  • Sunekos® should be combined with Profhilo®, PRP or filler
  • a gentle treatment for sensitive skin is desired

We advise against it when …

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • an acute skin infection in the treatment area
  • known hypersensitivity to the ingredients
  • an immediate, dramatic result is expected
  • another method would be medically more appropriate

Frequently Asked

Good to know.

What is the difference to filler or Profhilo®?

Fillers build volume, Profhilo® improves skin quality across an area. Sunekos® is gentler, based on amino acids + hyaluron, and particularly suited to the eye area and sensitive skin.

Does Sunekos® help with dark circles?

Sunekos® can work well for skin quality, fine lines and the tired look of the lower eyelids. True vascular dark circles (visible through vessels) don't reliably respond — so consultation is important.

When will I see results?

First changes after 2–4 weeks, full effect after about 6–8 weeks.

Is the treatment painful?

Little. Very fine needles, often with topical cream. In the eye area, well tolerated thanks to specially thin needles.

What side effects are possible?

Usually mild: small papules, light redness, rarely small bruises. Serious complications are rare but cannot be entirely excluded.

How long does the result last?

Approx. 6 months after the 3-session course. With maintenance every 6 months, the effect is stable.

Can Sunekos® be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Often combined with Profhilo®, PRP, filler or Botulinum toxin — depending on the indication.
